Base Salary
$254k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and implement algorithmic improvements for driving behavior in the codebase.
- Develop strategies and intelligent behaviors to mitigate performance degradation under system failure modes.
- Architect scalable solutions integrated with the autonomous driving stack.
- Collaborate with Planner, Perception, Prediction, Hardware, and other teams.
- Partner with validation teams to define and execute tests for developed algorithms.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 9 years of experience.
- Fluency in C++.
- Extensive programming and algorithm design experience.
- Understanding of vehicle kinematics.
- Preferred: PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience shipping commercial robotics, drone, or consumer-device products.
- Preferred: demonstrated experience creating real-time motion-planning algorithms in a cross-functional team.
