Base Salary
$120k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the role’s domain of expertise across projects from inception through delivery and beyond.
- Build and deploy core machine learning models and scalable ML products in production.
- Develop and maintain underlying data and training pipelines and complex datasets.
- Select appropriate statistical and machine learning methods for business and player-focused problems.
- Design experiments, test hypotheses, and evaluate model performance.
- Collaboratively identify, prioritize, and execute workflows with peers and stakeholders.
- Translate complex technical concepts and architectures for technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, data engineering, or a related quantitative field, with a record of delivering end-to-end ML products.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, classical machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and anomaly detection.
- Proficiency in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and model performance evaluation.
- Experience building and deploying scalable ML solutions in production, ideally with Kubernetes and GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala and the ability to write optimized SQL for complex dataset construction.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks and modern data lakehouse formats.
- Ability to explain complex technical architectures and machine learning concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes graph databases, collaborative filtering, user vectorization, large-scale sentiment analysis, TypeScript, Golang, Protobuf, infrastructure as code, source control, CI/CD, the video game industry, startup environments, and technical writing.
