Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ software for defense applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Build efficient and scalable solutions for complex algorithmic, memory-management, and real-time processing challenges.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and software disciplines to integrate C++ components.
- Debug, test, and profile C++ code to resolve performance bottlenecks and improve reliability and stability.
- Contribute to architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment across the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of demonstrated professional experience developing complex, high-performance software with modern C++.
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, including low-level systems and algorithmic complexity.
- Proven ability to design performant software emphasizing efficiency and resource management.
- Ability to understand and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and complex system architectures.
- Genuine interest in building mission-critical software with real-world impact.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
