Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own large portions of the application and drive major features from design through completion.
- Build safe, impactful generative-AI-powered user experiences for customers.
- Scale the platform to ingest terabytes of data from varied sources.
- Build efficient real-time querying and user notification capabilities.
- Optimize search algorithms for fast results.
- Train, deploy, integrate, and monitor machine learning models.
- Write robust, well-tested, well-designed production software and iterate based on user needs.
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, cross-functional partners, and users.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Understanding of best practices for using generative AI responsibly.
- Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally and/or in the open-source community.
- Knowledge of training, deploying, integrating, and monitoring machine learning models.
- Strong modern software development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Ability to synthesize product requests into reliable software components.
- Bonus experience applying large language models to enhance user experience.
