Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems capable of handling high traffic from security cameras.
- Own and maintain a public API for customers to pull historical footage.
- Develop internal tools to assist engineering and marketing teams.
- Build backend applications from end-to-end with an owner’s mentality.
- Communicate with engineering teams to develop world-class products.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Back End Engineer, preferably in a startup.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python or GoLang; Java or C++ experience is a plus.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, Dynamo, and Postgres.
- History of shipping significant products and owning backend systems end-to-end.
- Some experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
