Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain hybrid infrastructure across on-premises bare-metal systems and AWS.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and Terragrunt and configuration management with Puppet and Ansible.
- Maintain networking capabilities including routing, load balancing, tunneling, proxies, DNS, and security features.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform delivery.
- Participate in incident response and postmortems to improve reliability practices.
- Apply AI tools to automation, operational tooling, and incident response.
- Collaborate with Product and engineering teams to translate business needs into infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Linux systems or infrastructure experience.
- Strong understanding of IPv4, routing, bridging, proxies, and DNS.
- Production experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, and ECS.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
- Ability to script operational automation with Bash and Python.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools to infrastructure automation, incident response, or tooling.
- Preferred experience includes reusable Terraform modules, Puppet or Ansible, network tools and tunneling protocols, cybersecurity principles, Docker, Kubernetes, LXC, microVMs, AWS certifications, and Terragrunt.
