Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and own the engineering tooling roadmap.
- Optimize Bazel and onboard services to Bazel across the infrastructure.
- Own Kubernetes deployment and development tooling.
- Build software and hardware testing frameworks.
- Improve C++ support through Bazel and the broader infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to engineers on other teams.
- Help grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong experience with C/C++ build systems such as Make, CMake, or Meson.
- Deep understanding of C/C++ compilation, linking, and dependency management.
- Experience migrating and modernizing build systems.
- Proven experience using Bazel in large-scale monorepo environments.
- Proficiency authoring and maintaining custom Bazel rules.
- Experience designing and implementing Bazel toolchains for C/C++ builds.
- Knowledge of Bazel remote execution and caching strategies.
- Preferred: experience with bzlmod, cross-platform C/C++ builds on Linux, macOS, and Windows, build-system performance optimization, incremental compilation, or firmware development and deployment.
