Responsibilities
- Move common cloud actions from developer machines into shared tooling.
- Improve license handling and the feature flags system.
- Separate the monolithic support tool into smaller, more manageable tools.
- Build AI-enabled tools and tools that improve security and privacy.
- Contribute to open-source systems used by Verkada.
Requirements
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study is required.
- Experience with Python and/or Go is required.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS, is required.
- Experience and enthusiasm for learning new infrastructure products, features, and strategies is required.
- Comfort working at the frontier of infrastructure and software development is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Terraform, Kubernetes, and a service mesh such as Istio are preferred.
