Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy, operate, and monitor services across multiple public clouds.
- Build and manage infrastructure as code, containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services at scale.
- Support heavy-traffic websites using mass-scale architecture and a developer-focused approach.
- Manage monitoring, centralized logging, reporting systems, and dashboards for application and server performance and scalability.
- Configure content delivery networks for performance caching and global traffic management.
- Evaluate database solutions based on performance, cost, and technical fit.
- Collaborate with software architects and application teams globally to improve delivery, performance, and scalability.
- Provide management support including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews, and assess team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, in-person, not-for-profit university or college.
- 5+ years of combined development and DevOps experience with cloud service providers, Docker, Kubernetes, and large-scale web architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
- Expert experience with Linux, APT, open-source technologies, and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack.
- Advanced experience delivering CI/CD pipelines to varied virtual environments in public clouds.
- Ability to solve problems through programming in Python, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, or Bash.
- 3–5 years of experience managing monitoring, centralized logging, reporting systems, and performance dashboards.
- Conceptual understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and the ability to select appropriate solutions.
- Experience configuring CDNs and familiarity with AWS network foundation components.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical application to workflows, observability, and team efficiency.
- Preferred experience includes APM, system vitals, synthetics, RUM, Java, C#, Node.js, serverless architectures, PCI compliance remediation, mobile application support, REST API or microservices development, and Agile sprint cycles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, estimation, multitasking, and global teamwork skills.
