Responsibilities
- Define reference architectures and architecture roadmaps for AI-powered medical solutions.
- Develop AI technology roadmaps, including AI development tooling.
- Initiate, lead, and oversee the Architecture & Platform Creation program to mature AI products and platforms.
- Scout for and partner with third parties and suppliers whose products and technologies fit Philips solutions.
- Collaborate with Philips businesses and corporate teams to share knowledge and platforms.
- Drive architecture and implementation for AI-powered propositions that improve workflow, efficiency, and clinical outcomes in minimally invasive procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional or enterprise experience in software architecture, machine learning, or AI solution development.
- Experience in the software-as-medical-device industry.
- Experience building distributed cloud-native and on-premises software solutions supporting different business models.
- Deep understanding of cloud and container hosting technology and security.
- Experience developing computer vision algorithms using deep learning for video and audio processing.
- Experience with software design concepts, practices, and modern development methodologies.
- Experience working cross-functionally with clinical affairs, marketing, customer service, regulatory, and quality teams.
- Willingness to use modern AI technology for document authoring, testing, test-case generation, and code generation.
- Ability to keep current with technical developments through literature and technical contacts.
