Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee scalable, secure, high-performance web applications, services, and APIs.
- Champion AI-native development workflows and integrate AI coding agents into engineering practices.
- Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Define technical standards, lead code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with Support and CSM teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve critical customer issues.
- Develop collective expertise in Open Banking and PSD2.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proven experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Ability to integrate AI coding agents into daily development workflows.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic approach to cost-effective technical solutions.
- API-first product mindset with strong focus on customer outcomes and user use cases.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-changing startup environments.
- Clear communication skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive interactions with diplomacy.
