Base Salary
$88k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate embedded security software for system security engineering, cybersecurity, program protection, software assurance, and secure coding initiatives.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, remediation, and patch management activities.
- Develop and execute unit tests and build verification test plans, and track and report test status.
- Participate in software design, requirements, implementation, qualification, peer review, and delivery activities across the full software development lifecycle.
- Work in an embedded technology environment using real-time operating systems for flight and mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, automation, DevSecOps, and systems test teams.
- Review software products, designs, technical documents, and end-to-end system requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and two years of related experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and zero years of related experience; an additional four years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Current and active Secret clearance is required at start, with the ability to maintain it for continued employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access before starting employment.
- Experience with C/C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with embedded system programming, software integration and testing, and System Security Engineering, Program Protection, or Cybersecurity.
- Preferred qualifications include a STEM bachelor’s degree, real-time embedded software development, radar technologies, VxWorks, Linux, Visual Studio, SonarQube or other static code analysis tools, embedded hardware benches, Atlassian tools, Jenkins, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with employees and management at all levels.
