Responsibilities
- Design reliable and objective evaluators for ML models, LLM pipelines, SQL jobs, and agent skills.
- Configure and maintain local and FDA/Fury experimentation environments isolated from production systems.
- Debug autonomous loops and distinguish process failures, evaluation errors, and environment problems.
- Manage experimentation budgets covering compute resources, time, and cost.
- Optimize solutions across engineering, AI/agents, ML, product/UX, and analytics domains with significant autonomy.
- Develop and execute model-training workflows, including evaluation metrics, hyperparameter tuning, and experiment runners.
- Optimize SQL queries and analyze large-scale data-processing and query performance.
- Apply LLM prompting and prompt-engineering techniques with agentic AI tools.
- Use Git, command-line tools, Fury CLI, FDA, and evaluation runners.
- Create and maintain structured technical documentation in Markdown, including SKILL.md files and adapter contracts.
Requirements
- Experience in data science, ML engineering, or software engineering with a focus on experimentation.
- Experience developing and executing machine-learning model-training workflows.
- Experience with evaluation metrics, hyperparameter tuning, and basic Python scripting for evaluators and experiment runners.
- Ability to optimize SQL queries and analyze query performance.
- Knowledge of LLM prompting and prompt engineering, using tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, or similar.
- Proficiency with Git branches, commits, and resets, along with command-line and execution-infrastructure tools.
- Ability to read, write, and maintain structured technical documentation in Markdown and documentation-as-code repositories.
