Responsibilities
- Develop and extend SaaS application portal user interfaces.
- Design, evolve, and maintain APIs required by the UI layer in collaboration with the API team.
- Build loosely coupled, testable, scalable, performant, and maintainable features.
- Create reusable UI component libraries for products hosted on the SaaS platform.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable application code.
- Maintain architecture and source-code documentation.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams, product managers, team members, and QA.
- Promote good software engineering practices across the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issues.
- Optimize web applications for speed and scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with Angular, React, or Vue JavaScript frameworks and state-management fundamentals.
- Experience building reactive front-end applications using RxJS and asynchronous programming primitives such as async/await or Promises.
- Experience with state-management libraries such as NgRx.
- Experience with TypeScript, NPM, Webpack, bundling, minification, and optimization.
- Experience building, publishing, and versioning UI component libraries.
- Knowledge of HTTP and REST API integration.
- Experience applying front-end JavaScript performance best practices and modern design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, continuous integration systems, deployment, and operations automation.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as .NET Core or Node.js.
- Preferred: 8+ years building single-page applications using HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript.
- Preferred: experience building responsive and progressive web apps, internationalization and localization, end-to-end product development, and front-end performance optimization.
