Responsibilities
- Drive engineering initiatives for unified financial reporting and process consolidation.
- Lead the design and implementation of microservices and APIs for payments and incentives.
- Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to resolve dependencies and requirements.
- Support the professional development of peers and junior members through feedback.
- Manage complex on-call incidents and improve system health and financial integrity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining complex distributed systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or an adjacent field, or equivalent training.
- Proficient in Go & Python or a similar modern programming language.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices in production.
- Deep understanding of observability and the software development life cycle in Agile.
- Ability to communicate complex technical updates to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working across teams and with third parties to resolve dependencies.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS), messaging systems (Kafka, SQS), or data warehouse tools (Snowflake) is a plus.
