Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deliver high-quality software while defining and promoting engineering best practices.
- Guide technical trends and architecture across multiple teams, products, domains, and business units.
- Design and develop scalable, highly available, and high-performance web products across frontend and backend architectures.
- Deliver large services, complex libraries, and major infrastructure components.
- Lead cross-team initiatives and projects and contribute to technology roadmaps and vision.
- Identify strategic technology opportunities and devise long-term strategies to improve system stability, performance, scalability, complexity, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on solutions as a DevSecOps team member, including application maintenance and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least seven years of software development experience or commensurate skills building commercial applications.
- Knowledge across multiple technical domains and understanding of how and why technologies are deployed and used.
- Track record of improving stability, performance, and scalability across business-critical systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS, serverless systems, event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, microservices, microfrontends, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with professional software engineering practices and the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architecture and design patterns, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
