Base Salary
$285k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems supporting merchant-facing products and services.
- Develop features that enhance the merchant experience and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to deliver seamless product integrations.
- Own the core platform and identify, prioritize, and execute infrastructure opportunities that accelerate product development and maintain reliability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and operating production backend or platform systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Experience building and operating asynchronous systems or data pipelines in production environments.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and a commitment to high-quality software.
- Ability to own and drive product and platform initiatives from scratch.
- Ability to identify commonalities across problem statements and design appropriate abstractions.
- Comfort working on a small team and helping establish foundational systems.
