Responsibilities
- Build Snowflake’s customer-facing AI Functions portfolio of products.
- Design and implement highly scalable distributed platforms within the global Snowflake platform.
- Participate in technical and business decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure operational readiness and meet customer commitments for service reliability, availability, and performance.
Requirements
- 14+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale production systems.
- Passion for AI/ML and natural language processing.
- Experience building end-to-end customer-facing products.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Fluency in Python or Java is preferred.
- Knowledge of C, C++, or Go is a plus.
- Experience collaborating across teams and with product managers.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related major.
