Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed open-source message broker systems and large-scale solutions.
- Drive system architecture, technical best practices, and team roadmap development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and RabbitMQ and Apache ActiveMQ project maintainers.
- Write code and tests, review pull requests, and investigate operational metrics and root causes.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
