Responsibilities
- Analyze business and system requirements for testability.
- Develop, document, execute, and maintain test cases and test data.
- Define test plans, apply Risk Based Testing techniques, analyze results, and support root cause analysis.
- Perform SQL query writing and database validation.
- Conduct API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
- Report defects and test execution status through defect tracking systems.
- Support test automation using Selenium, Java, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Participate in Agile planning, demos, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other team ceremonies.
- Support application implementation, troubleshooting, user training, and environmental issue resolution.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to test strategy and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL query writing and database validation skills.
- Advanced experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Intermediate ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate team-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Four to six years of experience with API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
- Four to six years of experience with defect triage and root cause analysis.
- Four to six years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes.
- Four to six years of experience with test management tools such as Rally and JIRA.
- Four to six years of experience with basic automation frameworks such as Selenium, Java, TestNG, or similar tools.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
