Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, verify, debug, document, and deliver software throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Develop embedded software using C/C++ and Python.
- Interface software with microprocessor hardware using interrupts, DMA, SPI, and I2C.
- Develop BLE semiconductor bare-metal software and software for embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
- Analyze and resolve software and system-level issues and provide ongoing product support.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and automated testing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while independently managing assigned tasks, priorities, and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming proficiency and working proficiency in Python.
- Strong understanding of microprocessor operations, including interrupts, DMA, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience with BLE semiconductor bare-metal software development, embedded Linux, RTOS, software design, debugging, and testing.
- Preferred experience includes full product lifecycle support, CI/CD and automated build and integration processes, Arduino and Raspberry Pi development, regulated-industry or Quality Management System environments, integrated optical sensors, configuration management, version control, code review, and cross-functional product development.
