Base Salary
$85k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain configuration-management patterns and infrastructure-as-code.
- Develop CI/CD patterns and support containerized product applications.
- Analyze requirements, design infrastructure and application flows, and write technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot automation pipeline failures, tune systems, and resolve bugs and errors.
- Monitor environment health, fix issues, and improve environment performance.
- Collaborate with end users and partner teams to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs.
- Support and maintain products, add features, and support UAT and production applications.
- Participate in change-management processes and follow risk-management practices protecting systems and data.
- Assist new staff with team policies, procedures, use cases, and best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work different schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
- Typically 2–5 years of prior DevOps, software engineering, or related experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire; the position is ineligible for employment visa sponsorship.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Linux-based applications.
- Ability to use Unix/Linux command-line programs and create or edit scripts.
- Knowledge of one or more of Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and orchestration tools including Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of at least one cloud infrastructure provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, understand software environments and network topologies, and demonstrate technical and modern application design skills.
- Ability to work in an on-call rotation; background and drug screening are required.
- Preferred certifications include Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.
