Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projects using GitLab.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for embedded software.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to address embedded-system pipeline needs.
- Integrate version control, build tools, test frameworks, and deployment systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, bottlenecks, and failures.
- Stay current with CI/CD and embedded-development tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of job-related experience or a Master’s degree.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of embedded software development and toolchains such as GCC, Keil, and IAR.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, QEMU, or similar containerization and virtualization tools in embedded contexts.
- A DoD SECRET security clearance is required at hire, along with eligibility for classified access and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred experience includes hardware-in-the-loop testing, real-time operating systems, and Agile development tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
