Responsibilities
- Orchestrate production data and ML pipelines on Databricks Jobs, including task dependencies and failure-mode management.
- Configure and maintain Databricks Asset Bundles deployments across development, QA, and production targets.
- Manage model and artifact registration, versioning, aliases, and rollback using MLflow and Unity Catalog.
- Manage compute across workspaces, standardize FinOps cost-monitoring tags, and integrate AIOps and observability.
- Diagnose runtime incidents and coordinate with development squads using an end-to-end understanding of the product.
Requirements
- Proven experience orchestrating data and ML pipelines on Databricks, including Jobs, Workflows, and cluster policies.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills, with experience using Delta and Unity Catalog.
- Solid CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, pull requests, and related development workflows.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Databricks Asset Bundles and code-quality tools such as black, isort, and mypy.
- Preferred experience with multi-country schemas, drift and cost monitoring, deployment automation, and AI-agent or agentic infrastructure technologies.
- Being based in Mexico or a similar time zone for overlap with Mexico working hours is preferred.
