Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Mobile engineers to take features from discovery to rollout.
- Own features end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, and observability.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable Ruby and Elixir applications.
- Work with GraphQL, TypeScript, gRPC, Kafka, and Kubernetes in a polyglot, microservice-oriented environment.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design to build products from inception through delivery.
- Integrate AI agents into the engineering workflow while ensuring generated code meets architecture, security, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Approximately 2 or more years of experience in product engineering, developer tools, or infrastructure at scale.
- Experience building and maintaining globally distributed systems.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Deep experience building and interacting with AI agents to augment software development.
- Ability to work as a pragmatic generalist, learn new frameworks, and tackle complex challenges.
- Familiarity with Elixir, Ruby, or TypeScript is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for technical quality and the user experience.
