Responsibilities
- Lead the development of BEV models and define the technical roadmap for perception tasks.
- Design advanced multimodal architectures that unify heterogeneous sensor data.
- Develop foundational perception models using BEV transformers and voxel-based encoders.
- Manage large-scale training workflows, including data sampling and distributed training.
- Enhance model robustness against challenging conditions like low visibility and occlusions.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for geometric accuracy and temporal stability.
- Collaborate with sensor calibration and mapping teams to ensure model interface cohesion.
- Mentor and guide machine learning engineers in best practices.
- Stay updated on cutting-edge research in machine learning and 3D perception.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in deep learning for perception and autonomous systems.
- Proven expertise in BEV modeling and 3D scene understanding.
- Strong background in multimodal sensor fusion, particularly camera and LiDAR integration.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines and distributed training systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving innovation in machine learning models.
