Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise planning solution projects from design through value realization for customers across industries and geographies.
- Lead blueprinting workshops, prescribe the o9 point of view, and translate customer requirements into business requirements and functional designs.
- Identify and document data requirements from ERP systems, PLM systems, databases, Excel sheets, emails, and other sources, including strategies for missing data elements.
- Support project managers with user-story mapping, sprint planning, timelines, risk management, and customer sign-offs.
- Work with build teams to configure o9 solutions for client planning use cases.
- Manage build activities, including scope, deliverable validation, client demonstrations, and user-story acceptance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and validate solutions for successful delivery.
- Plan, develop, and deliver Super User and End User training.
- Travel 30–50% based on client requirements.
Requirements
- Experience leading enterprise system implementation or business transformation projects at a consulting firm, IT vendor, or systems integrator, from design through value realization.
- Experience hearing and structuring abstract, complex business problems from executive and functional-leader customers and guiding them toward solutions.
- Experience leading data model design or logic/algorithm design for problem solving.
- Experience developing and reviewing team members or serving as a delivery lead on projects.
- Interest in supply-chain planning, including SCP/SCM and demand, supply, or production planning, or in statistical and optimization technologies is preferred.
- Experience driving projects using Agile methods or sprint-based delivery is preferred.
- Ability to deeply understand both business and technology and actively lead projects by working hands-on.
- Strong ownership, autonomy, prioritization, risk-management, expectation-management, empathy, and teamwork skills.
- Native-level Japanese or advanced Japanese capability for business negotiation, presentation, and facilitation.
- Willingness and ability to communicate in English through reading, writing, conversation, global-team chat, specification review, and training tools.
