Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and influence the direction of a small team in target tracking and state estimation.
- Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems.
- Prototype and deploy algorithms for tracking and multi-sensor data fusion.
- Develop high-performance Rust software for real-time systems.
- Design and implement robust filters and estimators for sensor data.
- Apply software design patterns to manage technical debt.
- Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques.
- Drive customer success by customizing algorithms for mission-critical use cases.
- Integrate technologies into the software development lifecycle.
- Translate technical progress into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Experience managing and evolving software architecture in production environments.
- At least 2+ years working on a single codebase or product.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
- Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling.
- Solid understanding of applied mathematics, including linear algebra and probability.
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques for interpreting sensor data.
- Familiarity with big data pipelines and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to engineer robust systems for estimation theory and adaptive filtering.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
