Base Salary
$130k - $500k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and build fraud detection and prevention systems across multiple fraud surfaces.
- Partner with product and engineering to define a fraud roadmap and prioritize problems.
- Design and implement tools and workflows to detect suspicious behavior.
- Establish visibility into fraud patterns and the effectiveness of prevention systems.
- Drive large scopes of work independently on a lean team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Preferred experience in fraud or abuse prevention.
- Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of ambiguous problem areas.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals.
- Practical approach to balancing speed, security, and user experience.
