Base Salary
$179k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and guide developers working on distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and build the agentic orchestration layer for composing, sequencing, and operating AI agents.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver cloud-based solutions and define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Set standards for software design, development, operational excellence, coding practices, and design patterns across Agile teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, reduce technical debt, improve system performance, and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 7+ years coding with multiple languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred qualifications include database management, cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring engineers, optimizing distributed-system performance through observability, using interactive AI productivity tools, and leading cross-functional engineering initiatives.
