Base Salary
$95k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded firmware and electronics for advanced measurement systems.
- Create and maintain performance-critical C++ software for embedded Linux environments.
- Develop low-level drivers and hardware interface components.
- Build and execute automated unit and integration testing within CI/CD environments.
- Apply secure development and Security-by-Design practices.
- Support hardware lifecycle management, including component replacement and BSP and driver updates.
- Maintain and enhance embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware platforms.
- Analyze technical issues, troubleshoot system behavior, and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional R&D, Product Development, Project Management, and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience developing embedded products from concept through production.
- Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development and real-time systems.
- Experience working with embedded Linux platforms and microcontroller-based system design.
- Experience integrating sensors, signal processing, and power management solutions.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of optics, color science, measurement systems, digital imaging, FPGA integration, or precision-instrument electronics is preferred.
- Familiarity with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, serial communication protocols, MATLAB, Python, or simulation tools is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
