Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platforms.
- Own projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Work with engineers, product managers, and operations in a distributed remote-first team.
- Debug and improve backend systems operating in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to maintainable, understandable code.
- Make data-driven technical decisions and help shape integration and automation products.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong Java experience and substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
