Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions and internal automation tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and containerized environments.
  • Build Python and Bash automation and internal web platforms using Flask and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop and maintain Java applications using Jakarta EE, EJB, Quarkus, Spring, or Hibernate.
  • Deploy and orchestrate applications across IAT, SIT, UAT, and production environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Develop automated functional, integration, unit, load, and performance testing solutions and analyze test results.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Integrate AI services and APIs into internal engineering tools and workflows.
  • Support go-live activities, acceptance procedures, documentation, delivery tracking, and cross-team knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the software development lifecycle, automation, and engineering efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Software development experience with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, object-oriented programming, and software engineering skills.
  • Experience with Java and related technologies such as Jakarta EE, Spring, Hibernate, EJB, or Quarkus.
  • Strong scripting and development skills using Python and Bash.
  • Experience developing web applications with Flask or similar frameworks and working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, YAML, and Bash.
  • Experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Knowledge of web services, APIs, microservices architectures, cloud technologies, secure coding, application security risks, configuration management, and IP technologies.
  • Experience with automated and performance testing tools such as Robot Framework, Locust, and unit testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and Jira or similar tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze complex technical problems, collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and share knowledge.
  • Experience integrating AI services or APIs such as Claude into software development or automation workflows is an additional qualification.
