Responsibilities
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability and help determine testing strategies.
- Develop and document test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Develop automated tests using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD or TestNG frameworks.
- Support functional, regression, and performance testing for web-based applications.
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks and libraries.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes and perform parallel test executions under senior guidance.
- Participate in Scrum activities and verify end-user expectations during and after implementation.
- Report testing results and progress, document defects, and coordinate their tracking and resolution.
- Research and recommend improvements to testing tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 1–3 years of professional experience as a QA Analyst.
- At least 1 year of experience with Java-Selenium automation frameworks, including TestNG or Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing and web-based application testing.
- Experience incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience configuring and triggering pipelines and using GitHub Actions or GitLab Actions.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies within a Scrum team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
- Exposure to Playwright with TypeScript is preferred.
- Exposure to Cursor AI and Copilot is preferred; experience with GWT, WebGL, 3D drawing application testing, or Datadog is a plus.
