Base Salary
$212k - $318k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, scale, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency live inference infrastructure for relevance systems.
- Own the feature store lifecycle from ingestion and transformation through production serving, ensuring high availability and online/offline feature consistency.
- Design and implement observability, monitoring, and validation frameworks for performance gaps, latency spikes, and production drift.
- Translate product requirements into robust, scalable infrastructure solutions with Product, Data Engineering, and Trust & Safety partners.
- Automate model deployment and reliability testing to improve developer velocity and system stability.
- Debug relevance systems when monitoring identifies performance bottlenecks or reliability issues.
Requirements
- Deep experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade ML infrastructure at scale, including low-latency live inference pipelines and feature store architectures.
- Strong background in distributed systems and backend engineering.
- Ability to write robust, maintainable Python code.
- Systematic approach to debugging complex, high-throughput systems and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience building foundational infrastructure systems and documenting system architectures and infrastructure strategies.
- Strong communication, code review, collaboration, and developer-enablement skills.
