Responsibilities
- Deliver solution designs and architectures for global initiatives and client engagements.
- Provide architecture leadership and domain expertise across mobile, web, and cloud technologies.
- Develop architecture governance structures, methodologies, technical strategies, policies, standards, and compliance activities.
- Define solutions independently based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review solutions, estimates, proposals, quality, project progress, and alignment with architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership, advisory services, stakeholder education, conflict mediation, and consensus building.
- Guide others through complex solution architecture issues and escalations.
- Identify technology trends and drive appropriate adoption within the organization.
- Coach and mentor team members and collaborate with varied stakeholders to resolve problems and achieve business goals.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building digital mobile or web projects.
- Advanced understanding of application architecture and strong knowledge of application, infrastructure, and security architecture.
- Understanding of performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and other system capabilities.
- Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles in a solution architect capacity.
- Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.
- Proficiency with full-stack web and mobile technologies, integration platforms, APIs, microservices, and BFF architectures.
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and toolsets, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD/BDD practices.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others and working constructively with diverse individuals and groups.
- One or more architecture certifications, such as Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Cloud certifications.
