Base Salary
$130k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design new software applications, analyze system requirements, and customize applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Assist with software updates and releases, ensuring seamless rollout of new features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify requirements and integrate tailored software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Manage documentation for development activities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track and evaluate software performance metrics to improve reliability and user satisfaction.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to confirm software compliance with technical specifications.
- Use market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and improve software products.
- Participate in or lead peer programming, design sprint, and prototyping sessions.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
Requirements
- 5+ years of significant and effective working experience with C++.
- Experience working in a Linux ecosystem.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Comcast may consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience instead.
- 7–10 years of relevant work experience is listed.
