Base Salary
$130k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design new software applications and analyze system requirements.
- Customize applications to maximize functionality and user experience.
- Assist with software updates and release rollouts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify requirements and integrate software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical knowledge sharing.
- Manage documentation for development activities.
- Track and evaluate software performance metrics to improve reliability and user satisfaction.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to verify compliance with technical specifications.
- Use market research and industry trends to guide project strategies and product improvements.
- Participate in or lead peer programming, design sprint, and prototyping sessions.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Maintain regular attendance and work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
Requirements
- 5+ years of effective working experience with C++.
- Experience working in a Linux ecosystem.
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience is stated.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and Quality Assurance.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and exercise independent judgment.
