Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Python backend applications deployed on Azure Function Apps.
- Maintain .NET microservices and integrate them with existing systems.
- Test, debug, and investigate applications and cloud resources to improve reliability and performance.
- Manage and optimize Azure resources including Function Apps, SQL databases, Docker, virtual machines, networking, container registries, and Redis.
- Monitor traffic, apply caching strategies, and optimize application performance through cloud-based load balancing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and scalability.
- Containerize and deploy applications with Docker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system operation and integration.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining and integrating .NET microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Function Apps, SQL databases, and Redis.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and query optimization.
- Mandatory experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and resource optimization.
- Proficiency working with APIs and microservices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and support continuous learning and improvement.
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure certification, including Azure Developer or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
- Preferred: strong Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
- Preferred: experience with Postman, API versioning, caching strategies, serverless architecture, Kubernetes, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.
