Responsibilities
- Architect, build, deploy, maintain, and evolve redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining AWS cloud infrastructure for customers.
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure, including clusters, namespaces, and deployments.
- Develop infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and production issues.
- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate features and enhancements.
- Implement and maintain compliance, security, networking, and cloud-native operational practices.
- Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software or computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or similar.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Rancher, or other container orchestration tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible and container technologies such as Docker or Docker Compose.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript as needed.
- Strong hands-on AWS solution architecture, CI/CD workflow, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, VPN, DNS, load balancing, firewall, and cloud-native security experience.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and/or AWS Certified DevOps Professional certification is preferred.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is preferred.
