Analyst-Python Developer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python backend services using FastAPI, including REST APIs and service-layer logic.
- Build and enhance React.js front-end components and pages with attention to usability, performance, and maintainability.
- Create and productionize Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows for data transformation and validation.
- Design and implement SQLite data models, schemas, queries, indexing, and migrations as needed.
- Build and support SharePoint integrations for document storage, metadata, lists, and workflows.
- Write testable code and contribute to unit and integration tests, code reviews, and automated quality checks.
- Assist with environment setup, deployments, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and runbooks.
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate work, deliver iteratively, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience or equivalent project/internship experience with strong hands-on delivery.
- Strong Python skills and API development experience with FastAPI or similar REST frameworks.
- Experience building user-interface features with React.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript practices.
- Working knowledge of Databricks and Spark-based data processing, including ETL/ELT, transformations, and job execution.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational data concepts, including SQLite or similar databases.
- Familiarity with SharePoint integrations involving files, lists, metadata, APIs, or connectors.
- Understanding of version control with Git, testing, debugging, secure coding, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, API validation, authentication and authorization, pagination, and error handling.
- Preferred familiarity with front-end state management, component libraries, accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Preferred experience operationalizing Databricks workloads through scheduling, parameterization, cluster configuration, and monitoring.
- Preferred exposure to CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and application security practices such as secrets handling, dependency hygiene, input validation, and least privilege.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
