Base Salary
$95k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain software quality engineering program plans.
- Review, comment on, and recommend approval of software lifecycle documents and program products.
- Conduct limited audits of software engineering processes and support functions.
- Assist with software release, configuration management, change control, deviations, waivers, and baseline activities.
- Monitor or witness testing, verify test setup and results, and support software acceptance and delivery activities.
- Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and review corrective and preventive action plans.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and support supplier software quality-system assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- At least 1 year of experience working on a project using various software development methodologies.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Software Quality role.
- At least 1 year of experience independently developing, modifying, and documenting actions for problem resolution or corrective and preventive action.
- Preferred experience with Quality Management Systems auditing.
- Preferred experience supporting software subject to AS9115, DO-178, and/or MIL-STD-882E requirements.
- Preferred full software development lifecycle experience.
- Preferred experience with Git, Jira, Collaborator, Bitbucket, and Beyond Compare or similar tools.
- Preferred software development experience in a collaborative environment using structured development processes, code reviews, and automated DevOps processes or tools.
- An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Candidates must satisfy Boeing's Conflict of Interest assessment process and U.S. export control requirements.
