Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AWS-based production infrastructure.
- Deploy and support customer-owned on-premise environments.
- Build repeatable deployment automation for cloud and hardware-based installations.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code standards for AWS and customer environments.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment reliability.
- Support release engineering and production operations.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues.
- Implement security best practices and support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in architecture reviews and platform roadmap planning.
- Support customer-facing deployment and operational readiness activities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.
- Experience deploying and operating production workloads in AWS.
- Experience supporting Linux-based infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, with Terraform preferred.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and operating physical infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active U.S. Government security clearance is required; applicants without the required clearance are not eligible for consideration.
- Preferred qualifications include defense, aerospace, intelligence, or mission-critical systems experience; sovereign cloud, disconnected operations, or customer-managed deployment experience; AI-assisted DevOps, AIOps, or autonomous operational tooling experience; and platform operating model experience.
- Familiarity with geospatial intelligence, satellite operations, mission planning, Zero Trust, and modern DevSecOps practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
