Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction of the computer vision and tracking domain from sensor readings through vision, motion recognition, and metric calculation.
- Train, optimize, convert, and deploy neural networks for real-time segmentation and classification on embedded hardware and edge accelerators.
- Extend tracking and motion-recognition pipelines to support new movements and analyses.
- Own domain reliability by analyzing tracking accuracy, building quality metrics, and using data to improve the pipeline.
- Ship meaningful improvements to detection or tracking quality and develop a deep understanding of the tracking system.
Requirements
- Require 4+ years of software engineering experience with significant depth in complex systems engineering.
- Require demonstrated experience shipping production systems and owning them end to end.
- Require strong proficiency in Python and C/C++, including higher-level applications and performance-critical native code.
- Require the ability to scope, prototype, ship, and measure solutions to ambiguous problems.
- Preferred qualifications include computer vision and machine learning experience.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of 3D geometry, state estimation, filtering, and optimization for tracking systems.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with structured-light or time-of-flight depth cameras and 3D perception.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with embedded Linux, Docker on ARM, and systems-level debugging.
