Responsibilities
- Contribute to platform solutions and shared services across Proofpoint product teams under the guidance of a mentor.
- Participate in requirements discussions and learn about deployment rollouts and production support.
- Develop technical independence by gradually taking on tasks autonomously and seeking support when needed.
- Participate in training, knowledge sharing, and collaborative software development activities.
Requirements
- Be an advanced student currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Go, Java, Python, and C++.
- Have familiarity with Linux and REST/JSON APIs.
- Have academic experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Be able to work collaboratively, take initiative, communicate openly, and work autonomously.
- Have the ability and interest to work part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
