Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and EKS.
- Lead application onboarding and migration to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.
- Develop and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Manage Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and broader infrastructure automation.
- Modernize authentication using AWS IAM, IRSA, and secure identity management practices.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments for reliability, security, and scalability.
- Drive monitoring, logging, performance improvements, observability, and SRE practices.
- Promote automation across infrastructure and application lifecycle management.
- Maintain documentation for platform processes, configurations, and standards.
- Contribute to service catalog ownership and governance.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security, and Product teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, resilience, security, and developer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a DevSecOps or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally including EKS.
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub-based development and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid experience with Docker, containerized environments, and Linux.
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation, authentication, and AWS IAM.
- Strong understanding of Amazon CloudWatch and cloud monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong security mindset and interest in building reliable, scalable, and governed cloud platforms.
- Python scripting or automation experience is preferred.
- Experience with Java applications or ecosystems is preferred.
- Experience with Dynatrace or other observability platforms is preferred.
- Experience with AWS IAM Roles for Service Accounts is preferred.
- Knowledge of SRE principles and practices is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments is preferred.
