Responsibilities
- Support platform services, APIs, integration services, commercial software packages, internally developed applications, and web services.
- Customize platforms and applications and add features based on end-user requests.
- Assist with designing and building platform capabilities, API services, and applications from customer requirements.
- Perform testing, troubleshoot and fix application problems, and assist with product launches.
- Provide technical support, write technical documentation, and follow version-control and testing practices.
- Assist with software upgrades and track software licensing.
Requirements
- Associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent qualifying coursework of at least 60 semester or 90 quarter credits with relevant coursework.
- One year of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, enhancing, or maintaining system or platform components may substitute for the degree.
- Completion of the 1010 Information Systems Trainee Program may substitute for the degree.
- Ability to develop web applications using programming tools such as Drupal.
- Knowledge of hardware and software components, application-system analysis and evaluation, and standard database platforms such as SQL.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify complex issues, and implement solutions with minimal disruption.
- Passing score on the Technology Engineer–Applications Core Exam is required to continue in the selection process.
