Base Salary
$25 - $40/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement C and Python systems programming tasks for low-level networking, hardware-facing code, and Linux kernel integration.
- Develop and debug Linux kernel modules, configure drivers, enumerate devices, and perform below-userspace system debugging.
- Assist with PCIe system architecture, high-performance networking offloads, and out-of-band management interfaces.
- Communicate project status to team leads and present technical work at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional or academic C and Python software development experience.
- Familiarity with Linux kernel concepts, networking fundamentals, Git, and Linux software development tools.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to work onsite at the Arlington, Virginia office.
- Preferred qualifications include systems programming experience, Linux internals knowledge, PCIe architecture familiarity, high-performance networking knowledge, and understanding of BMC and automation interfaces.
