Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java-based backend applications.
- Develop, integrate, and support APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related Java technologies.
- Collaborate on solution design, technical planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment activities while maintaining coding standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java 8 or above.
- Experience with Spring Boot, the Spring Framework, microservices, backend application design, and APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is helpful.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka or other messaging systems, React, Angular, or production application support is helpful.
