Responsibilities
- Analyse and document requirements and design specifications for corporate application systems.
- Resolve complex application and systems issues and provide technical consultation to users.
- Define application requirements and recommend fit-for-purpose designs with users and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance throughout application development and testing.
- Monitor corporate platform performance and identify system stability improvements.
- Install, test, and maintain system software.
- Prepare accurate technical and system documentation.
- Ensure application designs and systems meet security and quality standards.
- Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge to build team capability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to achieve technical and business outcomes.
- Support agreed budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
- Follow workplace health and safety policies and report incidents or hazards.
Requirements
- At least three years’ experience in software development and programming.
- At least two years’ experience in systems specification and design within a relevant industry.
- Understanding of current data processing system environments and associated development paths.
- Developing understanding of project management disciplines and sound financial management practices.
- Strong business acumen, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and technical judgment.
- Experience working to budgets, schedules, work plans, and defined performance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building, negotiation, influencing, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to contribute effectively within large collaborative teams and support an innovative culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of professional services or managed services business operations is desirable.
- Experience with a Tier 2 service provider is desirable.
- Experience supporting corporate or enterprise application platforms in complex stakeholder-rich environments is desirable.
