Responsibilities
- Build and optimize backend, reporting, and web-based applications.
- Develop compliance reporting solutions for equities, including CAT and CASE.
- Process and optimize data using SQL and relational databases.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web applications.
- Work with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, caching, messaging, cloud platforms, containers, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment and maintain high-quality code standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend development experience using Python and Java with Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of the equities asset class.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases for data processing and optimization.
- Exposure to web UI frameworks such as Angular.
- Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with in-memory caching solutions such as Pivotal Cloud Cache (Gemfire) or Redis.
- Experience with the Solace messaging platform.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
